Replacement and retrofit projects require more information than a new installation. The existing signal head, bracket, voltage, controller, and cable arrangement should be documented before a replacement product is selected.
Record the existing installation
Take clear photos of the front, rear, bracket, cable entry, terminal area, and controller labels where permitted. Record the existing diameter, aspect layout, voltage, mounting position, and quantity by approach.
Retrofit checklist
- Existing signal head dimensions and aspect arrangement
- Existing voltage, wiring, and controller output information
- Bracket, pole, arm, and cable-entry details
- Required replacement quantity and phased installation plan
- Authority approval, drawings, and documentation requirements
Confirm what stays and what changes
State whether the project keeps the existing controller, poles, brackets, cables, and cabinet. A replacement quotation should identify any adapter, mounting, or wiring work that remains outside the supplied product scope.
Start with the LED traffic light range and send the existing installation details through the RFQ form.
